Nicole V In The City San Francisco Style
Nicole V In The City, San Francisco Style
My second train ride adventure was just this past Summer in June. I decided to hop on a different train this time and take the Capitol Corridor that goes from Sacramento Valley Station to different stops on the outskirts of San Francisco California. This specific train will take you as far as San Jose, California. I went to Emeryville, which was about thirty minutes outside of San Francisco. to visit one of my cousins who lives right in the heart of the "foggy city."
I arrived in Emeryville, on a Friday afternoon after a three hour excursion. I always have great moments while traveling to my destinations via train. Amtrak.com does a fabulous job of making train riders feel comfortable. So much to see, from bridges that cross and give access into San Fran. To the water that shines so beautifully all around. Such lovely moments I take away each time I travel this way. The first evening I was there, my cousin and I went to a comedy show at cobbscomedy.com and had a total blast. We had such belly laughs from all the comedians that performed. I remember thinking after the show while waiting for Uber.com to pick us up what a difference the weather makes from the nice warm sunshine in the daytime. By night, the cold drops 50 degrees.
That's one of the thing that amazes me about San Francisco. Even in June it still stays pretty cold there. That's definitely a little too cold for me. Yet there is still a magic that San Francisco captures unlike other cities. Since I understand the culture of Los Angeles, I can respect the assortment and diversity that lives right in the heart of San Francisco. All the little cities within the city itself all collectively offer something refreshing and unique. Each time I go to S.F. I feel it's not enough time to do the things I want to do. My train ride home was bitter sweet as I rode back to Sacramento/Chico, thinking about how there is some great energy that comes from that city. I look forward to my next train ride excursion to explore San Francisco some more.
